Mentally Retarded Children have so many problems with their M.R. condition. One of the most difficult and common problem is Speech and Language. Speech and language are directly connected with nerves of mind. Because of this reason, they are very less including with our society. The M.R. Children are not acceptable for their behavior and unclear language.

 

Here at ‘Ankur’ our main goal is to improve these conditions of a children. We give them training. These kinds of problems can be improved up to some extent through propare treatment. Speech Therapy is the best solution for such language and speech problems.

 

In Speech Therapy we are giving Oral-Motor Massage Therapy. Massage through brush, in the inside of mouth and teeth. To do so, the inner muscles become smoother. We also give them bubbles. Children filing air in the bubble, with their mouth. With this exercise the capacity of child’s breathing is been increased. We also give the treatment of other breath exercise.

 

The other speech problems like Stammering and Faltering and cluttering are their main problems of Speech and they have also articulation problem like substitution, omission, addition. Here first of all we totally Assess the child. Then we plan for every such child. In this plan, we care to include the practice of vowels and other as per child’s requirement. This actually well planed design exercise for them. Their pronunciations are been improved by continually doing its practice. We are giving them training, and improve the child’s speech problems.
